FamilyFirst Counseling & Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is an outpatient clinic providing behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from ages 3 to 70. It is our goal to provide a safe environment for our clients to
alleviate symptoms of psychological distress, enhance coping skills and improve functioning in all aspects of life through individual, couple, family and group therapy. With the support and guidance of our therapists, our clients can increase their awareness and gain insight to develop alternative choices and options to life's challenges. We offer counseling, psycho-educational classes, and a wide range of psychological tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment for mental and/or behavioral health issues, such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress, sexual conflicts, parenting, emotional/ behavioral/ social issues for children and/ or
adolescents, and relational issues. These counseling services will be provided in this agency's office by a behavioral health professional or a behavioral health technician who is qualified and has the skills and knowledge to provide the services this agency is authorized to provide and to meet the treatment needs of the populations serviced by this agency. This agency also provides
specialty services for, youths with autism spectrum disorders, youths who sexually offend, delinquent youths, children with sexual reactive behaviors, sexual victimization (youths and adults), and traumatized children (i.e. abused, neglected, grieving). In addition to the counseling services, this agency works with Navajo County Family Court to provide psychosocial family assessments, bonding and attachment assessments, and social history for severance cases; and provides Navajo County Probation Department with
referral/ screening/intakes and recommendations for juveniles placed in detention and psycho-sexual assessments.
Clients can receive up to one hour of therapy per week (individual, family, and couples), unless additional sessions are found necessary to meet treatment goals and special issues group sessions are 1 hour to 1.5 hours per week, if applicable. The ratio of staff members to clients in group sessions is a minimum, 1:3 and a maximum of 1:10. If family members participate in group sessions, no more than a total of 15 individuals, including all clients and family members will be present. Psycho-educational classes are eight weeks long, meeting one hour per week with a maximum of six students per course. Days of Operation are Monday through Thursday, except for Legal Holidays. Office is closed on Fridays, except for special circumstances due to client's needs.

Administrative Office Hours are Monday-Thursday from 10:00am - 3:30pm; Behavioral Health Services are provided as follows:
Clinical hours for individual, family or couples sessions are scheduled by phone or on site and are scheduled by appointment only - Monday through Friday 9am - 6pm, except for special circumstances due to client's needs. Each therapist will schedule sessions between these hours and work hours may vary. Off-site individual and group therapy services are provided to clients who are at other facilities, such as detention/jail facilities in other counties. Specific locations are available upon request. We service English speaking clients only at this time. We meet accommodations for those with mobility and physical disability, such as being on the 1st floor, wide doors for easy access into restrooms and offices. We cannot service clients with any sensory impairment at this time, such as individuals who are blind or deaf.
